Today in St. Louis beer and whiskey for June 2

Today’s writing beer: Stubborn German Brewing Company‘s Social Distance Party Pale Ale.

Here is what I found today that every beer and whiskey lover in St. Louis needs to know.

2nd Shift Makes A Statement

… On Sunday, San Antonio based Weathered Souls Brewing Company,  announced the launch of the “Black” is Beautiful initiative, a collaborative campaign that calls on any willing brewery to participate in brewing their own version of a Stout recipe provided by Weathers Souls. … Important local libation news. St. Louis’ own Still630 isn’t quite ready to open yet, but they do want to share some delicious cocktails with you anyway.  Here’s how it works, you can pre-order the ingredients to two cocktails, Two-Step Gin, Peach, Lime, Lemon/Lime soda ($12.00) and  RallyPoint Rye, Blackberry Vanilla Shrub, Date Syrup, Mint ($16.00.

Support Your Local Bottle Shop

… Recently a fellow Reddit user asked about some of the best liquor stores that featured a good selection of local beers. That reminded me that if even though we want to support our local breweries, we need to think about the locally owned bottle shops as well. Each day, I’ll feature one, with a smattering of what they’re offering and links to their online stores.

The Wine And Cheese Place, all locations is hosting a Beer, Liquor and Wine Close out. There is too much to list here, so click here to see all your options.

Curb Side Update

… From your friends at Narrow Gauge. Rockey Appliances, an Imperial IPA double dry-hopped with Galaxy and Mosaic hops, 8.1% ABV•70 IBU and J.U.I.C.E. another Imperial IPA double dry-hopped with Apollo, Simcoe, Citra, and El Dorado hops. Also 8.1% ABV•70 IBU.  Order online here.

That’s all I can find for now. I hope you find this information useful.
