The release of BA Fantastic Voyage 2021 will be done via Oznr random drawing
This past spring, while I was working some shifts at the Beer Sauce Shop in Ballwin, the store tapped of a keg of an Imperial Stouts that I had yet to try but very much wanted. Fantastic Voyage from Perennial Artisan Ales has a reputation of being another locally brewed stout, that just simply amazes. I believe the keg which had the 2020 version, was intended to be a part of an event or tasting that was canceled due to COVID. So, finally, I had my shot.
I remember it pouring black a night, with a rich bouquet of chocolate and coconut. I was hooked but knew this was for the customers, so I had to wait my turn.
Now, the 2021 Barrel Aged Fantastic Voyage release has been announced and will be done through a random drawing. Entries are now live on the @get.oznr app.
Here are the details
This year’s BA Fantastic Voyage is an Imperial stout aged 20-33 months in a mix of Old Fitzgerald, Jim Beam, and Heaven Hill bourbon barrels, then steeped on coconut. 13.5%.
To enter, you will need the latest version of the Oznr app for Android or iOS. Entries are live and will run through May 14 at 10 AM.
Winners will be announced on May 14 by 2 pm via email with a charge to your account. Non-winners will not receive a notification. Entries are limited to one per person. You will be asked for card information at entry. Bottles are $50 plus Oznr fees. If drawn, your card will be automatically charged and your bottle will be in your account.
Pick-ups will run from May 14 through May 26 during normal business hours. Winning bottles left unclaimed on May 27 will be forfeited without refund, so please be sure you are able to claim your bottle between May 14 through May 26. Proxies are allowed and assigned upon winning.
