1220 Artisan Spirits’ new can cocktails are perfect for your Memorial Day plans

As a cocktail lover, it took me a while to embrace the idea of ready-to-drink cocktails poured right out of can, rather than handcrafted from behind the bar. But, with no bars to go-to last summer thanks to COVID, these RTD’s really came in handy, and many of what I tried were really quite good.

I just got done trying 1220 Artisan Spirits (1220 S. 8th Street, St. Louis, MO 63104), latest RTD.  Just in time for what will be a long, hot St. Louis Summer the botanically-inspired distillery, is releasing a new Lemonade Mix 8-Pack, featuring four of the original favorite Lemonade and Lavender canned cocktails and four of a new flavor, Pink Raspberry Lemonade.

In The Can

These cocktails use 1220’s Encrypted Vodka and are crushable at just 5.5% ABV. On the sip, you’ll get what you expect with slightly sweet and tart flavors.

“The Lemonade and Lavender has been our most successful canned cocktail, and we wanted to build on this. We love experimenting with unexpected, yet accessible flavor combinations,” says 1220 Spirits Founder, Kevin Lemp. “We see this lemonade pack as the perfect grab-and-go cocktail pack for summer entertaining with multiple flavors to choose from so everyone is happy.”

The pack is meant to be enjoyed outdoors this summer – from pool parties to patios, and backyards, beaches and boats. The Lemonade Mix Pack is available at 4 Hands Brewing Co. now and your favorite Missouri-based grocery-and-spirits retailers.

If you’re a fan of tequila, you should also seek out their new Paloma canned cocktail (6.5% ABV), made with a refreshing blend of 100% agave tequila, natural grapefruit and lime juices, and a hand-crafted grapefruit soda. Visit the 1220 Spirits’ website to see all canned cocktails and spirits.
