Perennial releasing 2020 Barrel-Aged Fantastic Voyage via lottery!

The beer, it keep on comin’.

And thank the heavens for it. Today, St. Louis beer lovers learned Perennial is releasing the 2020 Barrel-Aged Fantastic Voyage via lottery! Fantastic Voyage is an Imperial Milk Stout brewed with coconut.

Brewers add lactose sugar to give it a creamy mouthfeel and a bit of sweetness. The roasted malts and coconut meet the hops bitterness to deliver a full rich finish. Fantastic Voyage has notes of chocolate that make it a great fit for enjoying after dinner with dessert or even a cigar.

How To Get Your Bottle

Public bottle sales will be done through a random lottery system via http://www.perennialbeer.com/bafv-lottery. This online lottery will run from 8 AM on Tuesday, April 28 through 5 PM Thursday, April 30. A drawing Thursday evening will identify winners who will notified via email. One entry per person.

Winning gives you the opportunity to purchase one bottle through Eventbrite for $45. Pick up is curbside at the brewery. Winners receive links to purchase BA Fantastic Voyage on a specific date of your choosing.

Immediate pick-ups will run May 2nd- May 17th, Wednesday-Friday from 2-7 pm, and Saturday-Sunday from 1-5 pm.

In an effort to be flexible, there will be an option for ‘Hold my Beer’ if you would prefer to wait until the Stay at Home mandate is lifted.

Perennial is not able to ship bottles, however, you will have the option to assign a proxy at the time of purchase if needed. If you are picking up multiple bottles, Perennial asks that you pick up on the latest chosen date of all bottles and email us ahead of time at [email protected] with your name and the names of those you will be proxying for.

More Beer

In addition to the release of Fantastic Voyage, Perennial is releasing the next in their IPA series on Thursday. Pilot Talk dry-hopped with Simcoe, Mosaic, and Chinook hops.

And keep an eye out for another upcoming IPA, All Together, which is just around the corner as well. All Together is an IPA collaboration with Other Half in NYC. The recipe, shared with over 200 breweries worldwide, is raising funds for furloughed hospitality industry employees.

Perennial last collaborated with Other Half, on one of my new recent favorites Romanesque. So, I have high hopes about this new beer.

Both will be available for purchase through contactless curbside pickup at perennialbeer.square.site
