Recently we wrote that this winter our plan was to hibernate for six full weeks. No work, just six beers, Blues hockey and binge watching our favorite shows.
What we did not think about was how we would handle ending our hibernation and the possible withdrawal that might take effect.
Our fears have been washed away, thanks to Schlafy’s Cabin Fever festival. Now we can ween ourselves out of hibernation slowly by emerging from our dens just in time to go outside and drink more beer.
Tickets are on sale now for their Cabin Fever on Saturday, January 14 from noon to 4 p.m at Schlafly Bottleworks (7260 Southwest Ave, Maplewood, Missouri 63143). The outdoor winter beer festival features 40 beers of Schlafly’s favorite styles, ranging from seasonals to year rounds as well as high gravity winter warmers.
