What the heck is a Belgian style beer?
Unlike other beer styles, Belgian style actually lacks it, meaning there really is no style to define. There are no set ‘colors’ or ‘ingredients’ or ‘tastes’ but yet you know it when you see it or drink it.
Well, whatever your personal Belgian preference, if you love Belgian beer and you are in St. Louis, you’ll want make to grab your tickets now for the 5th Annual Midwest Belgian Beer Fest 2016, presented by Perennial Artisan Ales.
Your friends at Perennial are inviting you and 54 of their best brewing friends for their “Funky Fifth” annual festival on Saturday, July 30, 2016 from 1:00pm-5:00pm at the Sheet Metal Workers Local 36 Union Hall located 2319 Chouteau Avenue, Suite 100.
Each year, Midwest Belgian Beer Fest partners with a local charity. This year, proceeds from the fest will be donated to St. Louis Public Radio, whose aim is to“help people become deeply informed about the issues that affect their lives, better prepared to make decisions and more engaged in our community.” In an effort to maximize their donation, Perennial will have a raffle for some awesome prizes as well–so don’t forget to bring some cash!
