4 Hands, Strange Donut collaboration stout returns Friday, June 4
Anything is good in moderation.
That is what I tell myself when it comes to donuts. For health reason’s I have lay off the sweets, but I do allow myself one annual indulgence: a Strange Donut once a year. And thanks to 4 Hands’ newest release, my donut day is Friday, June 4. That’s because 4 Hands is releasing their Strange Stout on, yes on National Donut Day, in collaboration with their friends at Strange Donuts on Friday June 4th. Bottles will be for sale at the brewery and the first 60 folks to come to the brewery to buy a bottle will get a Strange Donut to celebrate.

Strange Stout
Barrel Reserve Strange Stout
Created in collaboration with our friends from Strange Donuts, Strange Stout is a ridiculous, decadent imperial oatmeal stout brewed with Madagascar vanilla beans, cacao nibs and Strange’s Rainbow Pony dones. This limited release version was aged in freshly-emptied bourbon barrels to add complex layers of toasted oak, additional vanilla character and warming whiskey notes. 22oz bottles | 10.5% ABV
Barrel Reserve Raspberry Jelly Strange Stout
Created in collaboration with our friends from Strange Donuts, Strange Stout is a ridiculous, decadent imperial oatmeal stout brewed with Madagascar vanilla beans, cacao nibs and Strange’s Rainbow Pony dones. This limited release version was aged in freshly-emptied bourbon barrels to add complex layers of toasted oak, additional vanilla character and warming whiskey notes AND we added raspberries because why not?! 22oz bottles | 10.5% ABV
The bottles will be sold at the 4 Hands Brewery tap room until they are gone, and note that a very limited allocation will be released to stores in the area. In addition, Strange Donuts is hosting their annual Donut Day celebration at World’s Fair donuts on Saturday night from 7 to 10 p.m. 4 Hands beers will be availble as well as bottles of Strange Stout.
