Help St. Louis’ beer employees during two day online beer-a-thon

If I’ve learned anything during this pandemic, it’s that staying home, working remotely, while waiting for my daily happy hour to arrive, is that I appreciate beer more than ever. And while I’ve been enjoying my brew more, I’ve also deepened my appreciation for the men and women who make it. My new mantra, “I can’t truly understand the beer I love, without understanding the people who make it.”

This is why it’s important for me and anyone else who loves the beer made in St. Louis to do our part to help the community stay alive in this time of lockdown.

Today, we can help do our part. Today, from noon to 5 p.m. you’re invited to grab some local brew, fire up your favorite streaming platform, and turn the volume way up for “Community Transmission,” brought you by STLBeer.

Join the Greater St. Louis brewing community for 2 days of amazing live music and camaraderie streamed live into your homes all in support of our furloughed friends, family, and neighbors who have spent their lives making our lives better… with beer.

All money raised from donations and merchandise sales during the month of April as part of the Community Transmission campaign will be evenly split between local brewery employees who have been furloughed or had their hours our paychecks dramatically reduced.

STLBEER will distribute these funds quickly and directly to our community the first week of May.

Currently the number of folks we are fundraising for tops out at over 600 people, so we have a lot of work to do to make a difference. Every dollar helps. Every share on of this campaign on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram helps. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. Stay healthy. Stay positive. We are all in this together.
