Since starting this blog, I’ve had the chance to meet some amazing people who all share a love of beer, wine, and spirits. Among the folks I’ve met is one super special guy named Mike Arnold. Mike is perhaps one of the sweetest men you would ever meet. I first met Mike at an event for the St. Louis Brewers Guild, as we were both invited as social influencers. Mike, otherwise known as @GusGusFunBus on Twitter, could not have been more gracious and welcoming as we both shared our visions of growing social audiences and celebrating St. Louis’ growing craft industry.
Since then, Mike has been a fervent supporter of mine, and vice versa. I can’t remember a day in the last two years where Mike wasn’t the first to retweet a story of mine and help me spread the story around. But Mike’s biggest gift to us all is his unwavering support for so many. Through his social media footprint, Mike is the perhaps one of our regions biggest champion.
This morning we learned that Mike was involved in a terrible accident.
You know him as @GusGusFunBus. Mike Arnold is one of our regionâs most vocal cheerleaders. Today he was in a terrible accident but thankfully his wife Suzanne says all signs point toward all things being able to heal, in time. Letâs all wish Mike a speedy recovery and send love! pic.twitter.com/WTKE2LrUou

I just want to say, on this Father’s Day, that I’m thinking of you Mike. Troika was right when he said this region, along with the craft community has no bigger champion than you. I send you all the good vibes possible in wishing you quick recovery. Twitter is already dull without you.
