Stout lovers are starting to feel the buzz. February is their month.
Winter clearly isn’t moving out of our area and as predicted, Puxatony Phil gave us six more weeks of winter (BEERS), so might as well enjoy the feast.
This week, Belleville’s own 4204 Main Street announced that it’s sharing in the love of Stout with the release of three new stouts:
Coconut Chocolate Stout ~ This stout was aged on over 100 pounds of coconut and heaps of Belgian chocolate. Big coconut aroma lies under a decadent chocolate presence.
Raspberry Chocolate Stout ~ Stout aged on Raspberry puree & Cocoa nibs. Big Chocolate aroma and dark Madagascar chocolate notes meld with a bold raspberry presence.
Coffee Stout ~ Stout cold steeped with Guatemalan coffee. Blending both the beer and coffee characteristics for a robust stout, perfect for cold winter nights.
Tuesday, Feb. 6th, 4204 will be introducing both Raspberry Chocolate Stout and Coffee Stout at 6 pm.
Head brewer Keith Hefley will talk about the creative process for recipe formulation and the brewing process for these two new stouts. And, he will answer any questions you might have. Also; $3 drafts at the 6435 tap-house after 5 and trivia will begin after 7. Everyone is invited to attend
You will be able to try the Coconut Chocolate Stout on February 13.
