The Wholefoods’ Coffee + Cold Beer bar in the Central West End has been my new Tuesday and Thursday 6 p.m. ritual while my boy gets his Bar Mitzvah tutoring.
The ritual has been good to me, as I’ve gotten to try out some great beers on tap, including Goose Island’s Bourbon County Stout, served by the magnificent Holly.
But this Thursday, December 15th, I’ll be enjoying only Schlafly products as they will be taking over the ten taps starting at 4 p.m. and going all weekend till they run out.
The tap takeover will feature the recently returned White Lager, TIPA, Coffee Stout, Christmas Ale and a new special release, to name a few.
