Right smack dab in the middle of happy hour, make sure you get a taste of this month’s special small batch: Dampfbier!
Centuries-old style, this Dampfbier (literally: steam beer) originates from the region of the Bavarian Forest at the southeastern portion of Bavaria. An all-barley ale, usually deep golden to light amber in color, it’s made with a unique twist: warm-fermented with Weissbier yeast at a higher temperature, which gives it a slight phenolic finish.
A medium-bodied, mildly hoppy beer coming in at 5% ABV, it’s sure to chase away that summer heat. This special batch is tapped at 5:30pm SHARP and is incredibly limited, so get your spot early.
