The Beatles had their Magical Mystery Tour. The St. Louis Brewers Guild will now have the Brewery Bus Tourstravaganza.
The epic 4-hour, 4 brewery tour begins at noon on Saturday, March 26th as tour-goers will board the bus (a fancy and oh-so comfortable limousine bus courtesy of Presidential Limousines) at the tour’s final stop of the trip, The Modern Brewery – 5231 Manchester Ave in St. Louis. There you can get dropped off or feel free to park your car till you arrive back there at the tour’s conclusion.
“Our first stop will be the Urban Chestnut Grove Brewery & Bierhall for a tour and tasting with Ryan Rakel, longtime UCBC big man on campus and recently elected President of the St. Louis Brewers Guild,” said Troika Brodsky, Executive Director of The St. Louis Brewers Guild
From UCBC you’ll head out to Maryland Heights to visit Lindsay and Ryan Sherring at the newly opened Six Mile Bridge.
Then it’s a short hop across the river to Alton, Illinois to visit the Old Bakery Beer Company who just celebrated their first anniversary! Finally, the tour will return to Modern for a final tour and tasting with Beamer and crew with the day coming to an end by 4pm(ish).
By this time, Modern will be open for regular business and will have a food truck onsite if you want to stick around after the tour.
Each stop on along the tour will include beer samples, and you are always welcome to purchase full pints or pick up a growler fill (They will have coolers on the bus for take home growlers).
Complimentary bottled water will be provided on the bus, but feel free to bring water bottles and snacks. For additional questions contact St. Louis Brewers Guild Executive Director, and your tour guide for the day, Troika Brodsky at [email protected].
