The wait is finally over. Narrow Gauge Brewing is officially opening the doors to its new location at 1545 N Highway 67, located just south of Cugino’s, where the brewery was located.
The official opening day will be this Thursday, March 30th, but there is plenty to know before you go.
“The new location will be RETAIL ONLY. We do not have a tasting room yet, however, we do plan to open one later on. In the meantime, you can still enjoy Narrow Gauge draft at Cugino’s,” wrote the brewery on its blog.
Starting Thursday, customers will be able to purchase all Narrow Gauge to-go beer, merchandise, and kegs at the new retail store. Online ordering is back as well and all orders must be fulfilled at the new location.
The new retail location will be open four days a week.
- Thursday 2-7
- Friday & Saturday 12-7
- Sunday 10-2
“We understand that this will be an adjustment for our customers who are used to having access to draft and to-go beer all at one location. Cugino’s will still carry a limited amount of 4-packs at their location for purchase,” wrote the brewery.
Owner Jeff Hardesty says the expansion to the new location will double his fermentation space and provide an entirely new experience for customers.
“This will lead to some additional production, which will see its way into distribution,” said Hardesty in 2021. “Expect more lagers and stouts, including barrel-aged varieties.”
The project saw delays and modifications due to utility issues, but construction finally kicked off in September of 2022.
