World Wrestling Entertainment Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin is one of the most successful and popular WWE Superstars of all time, and one of the few stars whose name is often recognized by those who never were fans of professional wrestling. While his in-ring career came to an unfortunate early end, Austin has continued on in different capacities.
One of those is his highly successful WWE Network podcast series – Broken Skull Sessions with Stone Cold Steve Austin. The name, Broken Skull comes from his website, Broken Skull Ranch and a line of products that includes the very popular beer, Broken Skull IPA which was released in Missouri in 2021.
Now Austin and brewing partner El Segundo Brewing Company out of El Segundo, California, is back with a new variation on Broken Skull IPA, a double IPA. The new beer is now available in Missouri and in St. Louis.
Broken Skull Double IPA
Broken Skull Double IPA (8.0% ABV) is made with Citra, Centennial, Chinook and Cascade hops. The addition of the Centennial to the recipe gives this beer a citrusy, juicyfruit punch.
“We kept the malt bill simple with 100% Rahr 2-Row. Dextrose is added in the kettle to dry the beer out,” wrote the brewery on social media. “You can think of it as the big brother to the original IPA.”
