One of my favorite all-time stouts is back. 4 Hands Brewing’s Chocolate Milk Stout quickly became a St. Louis winter beer classic when it debuted back in 2012. Â This beer tastes just like one would expect if you mixed a tall, creamy glass of chocolate milk with your favorite beer. Â Itâs really that simple really.
This beer pours black and smooth and quickly rewards with bursts of chocolate as you would expect. Â Itâs sweet, but not too sweet, which makes a second and third or more approachable.

That and the fact that at 5.5% ABV, your hibernation drinking session can go on pretty deep with this one. Â Not be missed.
This also means you can start anticipating a new Chocolate Milk Stout Value Pack soon. The winter favorite usually is release in November, so I’ve already reached out to the brewery to find out what can be expected this year. Meanwhile, here is look back at some of the past CMS Value packs.

The 2018 Chocolate Milk Stout Variety Pack
I rate the 2018 edition as my favorite. I thought the variant choices here all were strong. The experiment I remember conducting was a side by side.
