A look at 4 Hands newest Chocolate Milk Stout release, and years past
With the arrival of the holiday season, St. Louis craft beer fans have many things to look forward to. Specifically the annual arrival of 4 Hands Brewing’s Chocolate Milk Stout variety pack. This yearly release of new variants of their flagship stout is practically a holiday tradition now, so here ‘s a look at the 2020 release, and a look back at year’s past.
The 2020 Chocolate Milk Stout Variety Pack
This year’s edition features three new tastes based on 4 Hands love of cookies, or more specficially Girl Scout Cookies.

- Mint Chocolate Cookie. featuroing cacao nibs, lactose, and mint
- Toffee Cookie Crunch – featuring cacao nibs, lactose, toffee
- Caramel Coconut Cookie Crunch – featuring cacao nibs, caramel, lactose, toasted coconut flakes
All packs have been sold on at the brewery, and online and but they will hitting the shelves market wide starting next weekend. You should also keep an eye on their website for a possible return of online ordering.

Last year’s variety pack will be forever remembered in my house as the “Italian One.” For me thes stand out was the Cannoli Milk Stout.

The 2018 Chocolate Milk Stout Variety Pack
I rate the 2018 edition as my favorite. I thought the variant choices here all were strong. The experiment I remember conducting was a side by side. I descovered that the banana foster was the most dominant of the flavors, so I concluded that a Mudcake, Cherrie, and Banana provided the best drinking experience in order.

I remember being very excited for the release in 2016. I went in thinking S’mores would be my instant favorite, but it was the Gingerbread Chocolate Milk Stout that was my surprise favorite.

The 2015 Chocolate Milk Stout Variety Pack
Released on November 16, this Chocolate Milk Stout Variety Pack, was the only way to get bottles of the vairants. I thought the Horchata was a win, and hope that it comes back again.
