Public House Brewing earns 3 medals at LA Beer Competition

In 2010, Josh & Beth Stacy and Josh & Trisha Goodridge–longtime friends–opened Rolla’s first brewpub.  But it was a long, long time in the works.  Like any business, there were big ups and downs on the road to the first pour.

The “Josh’s” have known each other since junior high and after creating a lifetime of memories the two found another bond in beer.  What started out as a hobby, soon became a dream for both. Rolla needed fresh craft beer and they were just the guys for the job.

Since then, Public House beer has become a staple in my beer fridge. I buy their beer because, while I’m always on the hunt for new experiences, when one of those experiences represents a beer that is refined, balanced and just feels right, I stick with it. One of those beers is the Frisco 1501 Amber Lager.

The next beers I hope will find a home in my fridge, are three brews, which are now award winners. This week, the brewery announced three of their beers won medals at the LA International Beer Competition.

• Silver – Anthony’s Pacification Russian Imperial Stout – Craft Beer Awards & LA International Beer Competition

• Silver – Cabra Loca Espresso Milk Stout – LA International Beer Competition

• Bronze – 2018 Barley Wine – LA International Beer Competition

Congrats to the team at Public House Brewing.
