4 Hands Brewing bringing back City Wide Pride to honor LGBTQ Pride Month

It was last summer at the Tower Grove Farmer’s Market that I first encountered the initial release of the City Wide Pride can, honoring LGBTQ Pride Month. Even though it was 10 a.m. in the morning, a City Wide sounded good and along with the new Pride beer coozy they were offering, it was time to drink.

Monday, 4 Hands Brewing Company announced it was bringing back the Pride, to once again promote LGBTQ Pride month in June. The can this year will also feature the logo of PROMO, Missouri’s statewide organization advocating for LGBTQ equality through legislative action, electoral politics, grassroots organizing, and community education.

Part of the proceeds will be donated to PROMO again this year.

“We are grateful to be a partnering up with PROMO again this year in conjunction with our City Wide Pride cans,” said Kevin Lemp, President of 4 Hands Brewing. “City Wide Pride was created to showcase our support; for its every citizen in this community that makes St. Louis great!”

City Wide is an American Pale Ale with a purpose

“It is our opportunity to make our mark on the St. Louis community by donating a percentage of proceeds to local non-profit organizations,” said Lemp. “We strive to be a positive force in the St. Louis community. Our goal is to empower our consumers while giving back.”

This beer is exclusive to the STL in cans but does make draft appearances in all of our markets.
