Beer will be flowing at Biergarten anniversary Sept. 1

South St. Louis’ Soulard neighborhood is the anchor of the city’s south side, and at its core is the brewery responsible for putting St. Louis in the beer history books.  But for more than a century, the only beer you could drink at the Anheuser Busch Brewery was the complimentary taster you’d get at the end of the brewery tour.

That all changed three years ago, when AB opened their first public Biergarten, allowing St. Louis beer lovers to come and enjoy the brewery grounds in a new way.  Every day at 3 p.m. the public is invited to participate in an exclusive tasting, which is at the same time Anheuser-Busch brewmasters from around the country taste beer each day to make sure it is of the highest quality and consistency.

Now to mark the 3rd anniversary of the Biergarten, Anheuser-Busch is hosting a Bud Light Block Party to kick off Labor Day weekend. The fun begins this Thursday, September 1 from 4-7 p.m.
