One thing I’ve learned from covering the Missouri craft beer scene: our brewers don’t just talk about community—they brew it.
And starting today, that community is hitting taps and shelves statewide with the latest Missouri Loves Company® release, brewed by more than 30 breweries across the state. This time, it’s all about going global, as the 2025 “Beers From Abroad” series kicks off with a Belgian-style Tripel, landing just in time for spring patio weather.
If you’ve never had a Tripel before, don’t sweat it. These golden, high-ABV ales are yeast-driven and deceptively smooth. Expect a big bouquet of banana, pear, and clove, backed by light malt sweetness and a crisp, dry finish. This one clocks in at 8.5% ABV, but with its champagne-like effervescence, it’ll fool you in the best way.
And like all Missouri Loves Company beers, this one’s doing more than filling your glass. Every can sold supports the Missouri Craft Brewers Guild, the nonprofit that advocates for independent breweries across the Show-Me State. Buying a 6-pack directly supports the folks behind your favorite tap handles.
The beer was brewed collaboratively, with recipe development and brewing duties shared across Guild members. You’ll find it at 34 participating breweries statewide, including nine right here in the St. Louis area:
-
Blue Jay Brewing Co (St. Louis)
-
Crossroads Brewery (O’Fallon)
-
Friendship Brewing Company (Wentzville)
-
Muddy Banks Brewing Company (Sullivan)
-
Narrow Gauge Brewing Co (Florissant)
-
Rockwell Beer Co (St. Louis)
-
Schlafly (St. Louis)
-
Side Project Brewing (St. Louis)
-
Third Wheel Brewing (St. Peters)
This is just the first of four “Beers From Abroad” releases planned for 2025. Expect more global inspiration with Missouri heart, all year long.
