This Thursday, August 31, 4 Hands Brewing Company will debut its long-awaited second location, 4 Hands at The District will open in The District of St. Louis in Chesterfield, Missouri. The District is a massive entertainment venue located in the Chesterfield Valley, located just north of I-64.
Construction on the new brewery began in March of this year and will feature a 10,000-square-foot tasting room that we are told will have the feel of the original taproom in La Salle Park, and will feature 25 draft offerings including year-round and seasonal beers and hard seltzers, 1220 Spirits cocktails and Withered Oak blended whiskey.
A familiar feature of the city brewery will also be recreated, the family-friendly arcade area. The new space will include a private event space with an oversized patio and a kitchen featuring menu items from new culinary partner Hi-Pointe Drive-In just steps away from The Hub, an outdoor event and gathering area.
“We’ve been hard at work for several months planning and executing our vision for westward expansion,” said 4 Hands Founder and President Kevin Lemp. “I grew up in the area and it feels amazing for our brewery to be a part of the community in my childhood neighborhood.”
4 Hands at The District will be open from 11 a.m. to midnight seven days a week and will play host to beer and spirits tasting events, festivals, live music, and more!
New Beer
To celebrate the opening, 4 Hands is releasing a new beer. Quantum Gravity is brewed with New Zealand hops, which should give it flavors and aromas of red and tropical fruit, and a bit of sweetness. For now, Quantum Gravity will only be available at the Chesterfield location.
The label art for Quantum Gravity was created by local artist Jason Spencer. You can see more of Jason’s work at Killer Napkins.
