Iâve asked dozens of brewers and brewery owners, what they like most about owning a brewery and brewing beer? The answers vary, but one common theme throughout is that they believe brewing creates community, that while brewing they are never alone, and a unique form of comradeship develops.
Itâs just such a comradeship that has brought together so many Missouri brewers and associates to create another super Missouri-style collaboration called âMissouri Loves Company.”
Missouri Loves Company
âIt felt right to make something that would fit the upcoming fall season, and we decided a Sticke Altbier would be a perfect style,â wrote Motherâs Brewing on social media.
If youâve never heard of a Sticke Altbier⌠donât worry, a few of the brewers had either!
This was the beer that the brewer traditionally made for themselves with a higher alcohol content, but the brewery would put a sign with the word âstickeâ in the window to let customers know that the beer was being tapped.
