Pop-up ‘Pints in the’ Park popping up Paturday (Saturday)

Summer in Tower Grove Park is something I’ve cherished for the 22-years I’ve lived near it. And I’m proud that Schlafly Beer, has taken such a liking to this classic park.

Today, the brewery is announcing the launch of its pop-up beer bar: Pints in the Park at Tower Grove Park. The fun will take place every Saturday from noon to 8 p.m. at the open-air Roman Pavilion. Guests can enjoy a variety of seasonal and classic Schlafly beers, as well as food truck fare from 3-6 p.m., and live music from 1-5 p.m. The outdoor event is free to attend, and a portion of the beer proceeds will benefit Tower Grove Park.

“We have a longstanding partnership with Tower Grove Park, and hosting more events on-site is an important initiative for Schlafly, especially since developing our Park Lager beer last year which pays homage to the park’s horticulture team,” says Community Engagement Manager Lo Dugan. “We appreciate the chance to bring St. Louisans together to enjoy their favorite beer in their favorite setting, and hope to bring awareness to this crown jewel while helping to increase memberships of the park.”

For the team at Tower Grove Park, Pints at the Park further aligns two beloved institutions who both strive to make life more fun for the entire community. “We are excited about Schlafly’s continued support of our events and membership program,” says Director of Community Programs at Tower Grove Park Liz Hickox. “It’s only the start of an excellent partnership for years to come, and we hope that the time spent in the park helps to welcome new members to our program. Tower Grove Park relies on membership dollars to maintain and enhance the park. Members directly support conserving our trees and plants, providing free community events and preserving our historical pavilions.”
