While many things have changed about our lives and beers we love, something will remain the same. In this case, I’m referring only to the love St. Louis beer lovers have and will have with Abraxas, Perennial Artisan Ales, premier work of art. For the uninitiated, BA Abraxas is an Imperial stout with ancho chili peppers, cacao nibs, and cinnamon sticks aged in whiskey barrels. It’s a big beer at, 14.5% ABV.
In an email sent out Saturday the south city brewery announced, that due to COVID-19, this year’s release of BA Abraxas will take place through a random drawing via CraftCellr.
To enter, you will need the latest version of the CraftCellr app for Android or iOS (instructions below).
The window to enter will run from, Monday, July 13, at 10 AM through July 17, at 10 AM. Winners will be announced on July 17 by 2 pm via email and push notification.
Non-winners will not receive a notification. Entries are limited to one per person. You will be asked for card information at entry. Bottles are $50. If drawn, your card will be automatically charged and your bottle will be in your account. Pick-ups will run from July 17, through August 16 during normal business hours. Winning bottles left unclaimed on August 17 will be forfeited without refund, so please be sure you are able to claim your bottle. Proxies are allowed, proxy assignment information is below.
If you are a winner: to claim your bottle, you MUST reserve it through the CraftCellr app (instructions below). Please DO NOT press “CLAIM” until you are at Perennial and an employee instructs you to do so. If you have a proxy, you will still need to log into CraftCellr, “Reserve” your bottle, and “Assign Proxy”. An email will be automatically sent to the proxy you assign. Proxies will need an email for each bottle they are picking up.
