Which local breweries are heading to Great American Beer Festival?

The Great American Beer Festival is the premier U.S. beer festival and competition.  The event takes place from October 6 – October 8, but before you start booking flights, know this – the entire festival is sold out.

Each year, GABF represents the largest collection of U.S. beer ever served, in a public tasting event plus a private competition. GABF brings together the brewers and diverse beers that make the U.S. the world’s greatest brewing nation.

Approximately 830 Breweries. 4 Sessions. 3 Days. Nearly 4000 beers. 60,000 attendees. This year’s Great American Beer Festival is back and ready to celebrate its 35th anniversary.

The field has finally been set, and we now know which breweries will be part of this the world’s largest beer festival.

And among those 830, will be those from the St. Louis region who hope to represent the St. Louis brewing tradition.

We’ve got the full 2016 GABF Brewery list, but more importantly the list of who is going from our area.

  • 2nd Shift Brewing Company
    4 Hands Brewing Company
    Mark Twain Brewing Company
    Piney River Brewing Company
    Schlafly
    Scratch Brewing Company

Now that we know who from our area is going, we’ll now be reaching out to the breweries to find what they plan on serving and more about what they hope to gain from the experience.
