One of my first memories of any type of alcohol was the iconic image of the ‘Striding Man’ on his way to a great party featuring his bottle of Johnnie Walker Red. Â Whose dad didn’t have a bottle sitting around? Â Now the world famous scotch whiskey has plenty of cousins four of the best are coming to town for your sampling pleasure.
The Rack House West Winery will be hosting a premium Scotch Pairing on Thursday, January 14th. A representative from Johnnie Walker will be there leading the tasting and sampling rare and unique scotches including the new Johnnie Walker Rye Cask.

1st Course â Peppered crab sauce over a jumbo lobster filled ravioli
2nd Course â Mixed greens topped with candied walnuts and Blue cheese, finished with a sweet pear vinaigrette
3rd Course â Grilled Salmon on a potato cake all over a bed of sautĂ©ed spinach with ginger yellow tomato chutney
4th Course â Smoked New York style cheesecake with chocolate chip cookie crust
