2017 has been a remarkable year for beer, especially when you look at the sheer number of new breweries that started brewing beer, pouring beer, and opening their doors to lovers of beer.
But no opening, or reopening, is more widely anticipated as the return of Hopskeller Brewing Company and that opening has arrived.
Nearly a year ago, they were literally the newest bar-brewery in our area, opening their doors in September of 2016. But a little more than a month later, the Waterloo brewery was severely damaged by fire and was closed indefinitely.
According to the Waterloo fire chief, the fire started near the wood-fire brick oven.
But that is all in the past now. Now, it’s time to move and look forward to new beer, new experiences with new friends. The party is officially being called “The Grandest Of All (Re)Openings!. Below is the Facebook event invite. The image is hotlinked to the event on Facebook.
