Six Mile Bridge turns 10 with beer, music, and a big birthday bash

Ten years ago, Ryan and Lindsay Sherring opened Six Mile Bridge Brewery with a simple goal: brew great beer and build great community. This month, they’re celebrating a decade of doing just that—with a party on Saturday, August 23 at their Maryland Heights taproom.

The anniversary bash will feature two brand-new beers brewed just for the occasion, limited-edition merch, and plenty of food, music, and local flavor. The brewery hasn’t said exactly what’s going on tap, but if you’ve followed their lineup over the years, you know to expect something interesting—and drinkable.

Since 2015, Six Mile Bridge has become one of the region’s most reliable and relaxed places to grab a pint. From clean pilsners and crisp lagers to hazy IPAs and small-batch sours, their beer list always has range. They’ve grown over the years—adding a kitchen, expanding the space, and getting cans into grocery coolers—but the taproom still feels like a neighborhood hang.

Named after a town in Ireland and built on a shared love of beer and hospitality, Six Mile Bridge leans into approachability over hype. It’s the kind of place where you’ll see stroller-pushing parents next to hop-hunting beer nerds, both happy.

So whether you’re a longtime regular or someone who’s been meaning to stop in, this is your chance. Raise a glass to ten years of brewing with heart, and stick around for whatever’s next.
