Congrats to St. Louis advertising powerhouse Moosylvania! Not only does this agency have one of the best names around, they’ve finally reached the age where they can use your own ID. Yes, the “Moose” is turning 21. And what better way for a vibrant, forward-thinking company to celebrate than with its own beer. Partnering with 4 Hands Brewery, the agency has released Moose Space, a limited-edition IPA, infused with the nostalgia of early social media and Y2K culture.
The Beer
Brewed with Galaxy hops, Moose Space IPA packs a 6.5% ABV and will offer tropical notes.
âAs we were working through the concept of the project and the term âspaceâ entered the conversation we all felt strongly that Galaxy hops needed to enter the equation,” said Kevin Lemp, CEO and President of 4 Hands Brewery. “The Galaxy hop is one of the most sought after hop varieties with big notes of peach, guava, and citrus.”
The malt bill was built to add mouthfeel and highlight the Galaxy hop. Straight forward with 2 row malt and oats.
The IPA will be available mid-November at select Schnucks and 4 Hands locations. But Moose Space IPA isnât just a beer; itâs an experience too, a throwback to the early days of social media, complete with retro packaging inspired by Myspace and loaded with interactive features. A QR code on each can links drinkers to a specially designed website, MooseSpaceBeer.com, where they can explore a Myspace-inspired layout, tune into curated playlists, and test their memory with a digital photo hunt game.
âWhen Moosylvania approached us, we knew this would be more than just another beer release,â Lemp said. âItâs a celebration of two local brands that love what they do and love St. Louis.
What is Moosyvania?
Founded in 2003 by Norty Cohen, Moosylvania has spent the past 20 years carving out its place in the worlds of branding and social media right here in St. Louis. From redefining digital marketing to connecting national brands like Pink Whitney and High Noon with consumers in fresh, authentic ways, Moosylvania has built a reputation on capturing the cultural moments that matter. Now, turning 21 isnât just a milestone for the teamâitâs a chance, as Chief Strategy Officer Andrew Cohen puts it, to celebrate Moosylvaniaâs unique mix of creative energy and community spirit.
âWe wanted this celebration to capture our agencyâs journey and St. Louisâs collaborative spirit,â Cohen said. âWorking with 4 Hands Brewery allowed us to merge creativity with craft in a way that feels true to our city and to our roots as an agency.â
The collab is a reminder of 4 Handsâ longstanding commitment to the community through its City Wide Mission and partnerships with local artists and musicians. With Moose Space, that spirit of connection shines through, bringing St. Louis culture to the forefront and celebrating Moosylvaniaâs journey from a small creative team to a national agency rooted in the heart of the Midwest.
