The BEER & BAGEL OFF-ROAD RACE SERIES is coming back to St. Louis!
To be honest, I’ve never heard of this event, but clearly it is thing, and it’s happening this weekend (July 10) at Queeny Park. How did I not know that two of my favorite things in life had come together in the form of Beer and Bagels.Ā I don’t mind running, but beer and bagels are my jam.
This is a favorite event for runners throughout the area, who come each year for a challenging trail run with a fantastic post-race party. Of course, there will be plenty of free bagels and beer. Ā And the legendary race shirt, too ā a long-sleeve tech shirt with āIām a Drinker with a Running Problemā printed across the back.
The event is supported by Earthbound Brewery, St. Louis Bread Co., REI Co-op, Terrain Magazine and St. Louis County Parks.
“Not to brag or anything, but we just might have the best darn after party around! Free beer, bagels, and hearty home cookin,Ā plus awards, music & plenty of tailgate games. Leave your cash at home, it’s all included,” is what it written on the event’s website.
