You still have time to celebrate National Beer Day today

Hope you’ve recovered from your personal celebration of National Beer Day on Thursday, but now there is more celebrating to do.  While NBD marks the 1933 Repeal of Prohibition on April 7th, the one St. Louis brewery in existence on that date is celebrating today.

Tonight, beginning at 5 p.m. the Anheuser-Busch St. Louis Biergarten will go back in time to salute and extend the National Beer Day celebration.

The party will take you back in time, replicating the Repeal of Prohibition festivities in 1933, guests 21 and older are invited to dress in 1930s-style attire while enjoying live music courtesy of The St. Louis Big Band. They can also sample Budweiser, Faust and Michelob, three Anheuser-Busch beers that survived Prohibition.

The celebration will also feature 1930s-style menu items available for purchase, including Philly cheese steak sandwiches, lobster macaroni and cheese, tri-tip steak and potatoes, Waldorf chicken salad croissants and Biergarten pretzels. All guests dressing in 1930s-era attire will also receive a commemorative souvenir.

Additionally, the world-famous Budweiser Clydesdales will march down Pestalozzi Street during the festivities to commemorate their famous first beer delivery. Guests will also have photo opportunities with the horses.

Tickets are available for $33 and can be purchased on etix.com or on-site at the event. For more information, please visit HomeOfBud.com.
