History
Founded in 2008, WhistlePig is now the most awarded Rye Whiskey maker in the world. They live by a simple ethos: protect what makes Rye Whiskey great, toss out the rest, and then innovate to make it better. Their remote 500-acre hard-working farm in bucolic Shoreham, Vermont, is the perfect place to perfect their experiments with blending and finishing, ultimately leading to a portfolio of deeply complex Rye Whiskeys. Tasting Notes
Orange zest aromas, white chocolate, vanilla bean, and fresh pear combine with a gentle rye spice. The palate has a delicate fruitiness that gives way to a full-bodied burst of spice, rounded by notes of allspice and cinnamon, and balanced with a pleasant dryness. On the finish notes of white pepper and oak spice leave a light and surprisingly lengthy finish.
